They concluded that we would all benefit if incomes were redistributed. Despite the enthusiasm for their book, Peter Sanders in When Prophecy Fails shows its claims do not stand up.  Saunder's book received a furious reaction.  In this Australian edition, he has added a new 9000 words postscript responding to the criticism of his book.
