Research to Practice: Child Protection and Adoption

The NSW government’s announcement that greater use will be made of adoption to provide safe and stable homes for children in long-term foster care is a welcome development.

The empirical, moral, philosophical and economic case for adoption as the solution to the perennial child protection crisis have been made in a series of CIS publications available here. I discuss the relevant issues in this video: Do Not Damage and Disturb.
