anderson-aIndependent Northern Territory MP Alison Anderson will give an insightful personal perspective on a number of key issues in Aboriginal affairs. Having grown up in Northern Territory communities, Alison is fluent in several Aboriginal languages and has spent her life trying to improve the conditions of people living in Central Australia.

Alison has served on the Aboriginal Development Commission and as an ATSIC Commissioner. She has been a senior member of various influential boards, including the Desert Knowledge Co-operative Research Centre, Flinders University Centre for Remote Health, and the NT Government Indigenous Economic Strategy Task Force.
