andrew_bakerWith the government making unfunded promises left, right and centre, it is worth looking at in some detail the biggest promise of them all: the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The NDIS has been billed as the largest social policy reform in Australia since Medicare and it will be certainly be big. But just how big and how expensive will it be?

In this Meet the Researcher lecture, CIS Policy Analyst Andrew Baker will argue that the NDIS will grow to become the new leviathan of the Australian welfare state.
