charles_murrayDr Murray is the WH Brady Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington and author of the important book Coming Apart, which delves into the growing divide between cultural, political and intellectual elites and the rest of society. In his John Bonython address at the CIS Gala Dinner Dr Murray will examine why the term capitalist "has become an accusation" and why the current "segregation of capitalism from virtue" is one of the major contributing factors to capitalism's image problem.

"I’ll be shocked if there’s another book this year as important as Charles Murray’s Coming Apart.”
- David Brooks, The New York Times
