The long-awaited review of the tax system led by the Treasury Secretary, Dr Ken Henry, is expected to be released soon, along with the Rudd government’s initial response.  The CIS has contributed much to the public debate on tax reform options through publications and discussion forums.  This event brings together three of the authors of those publications to comment on the Henry report and the government’s response, and to assess them against the tax policy principles that the CIS has promoted over many years.
